As part of APIC’s strategy and its corporate social responsibility (CSR) approach in supporting education and health sectors, youth, entrepreneurship, as well as social, cultural and charity institutions in Palestine, APIC signed lately a 3-year Memorandum of Understating with El- Funoun Troupe.
The agreement was signed at APIC’s premises in Ramallah by Mr. Nader Hawari, APIC’s Vice President- Business Development, Mrs. Lana Abu Hijleh, Chairwoman of El-Funoun and Mr. Khaled Katamesh, General Manager of El-Funoun.
Mr. Hawari noted that APIC’s support will contribute to enabling El-Funoun to fulfil its mission in maintaining the Palestinian Folklore and cultural identity. He stressed that CSR is a company-wide strategic priority that is generated from the belief in the importance of building trust, value and respect among the community in which APIC operates.
Mrs. Lana Abu Hijleh said that El-Funoun highly appreciates the role of the private sector in developing the Palestinian culture which supports and promotes the Palestinian national identity. She confirmed that this partnership with APIC stems from the Troupe’s strategic approach in strengthening the cooperation among the private and cultural sectors which will enable both sectors to boost the economy on one hand and enhance the structure of cultural institutions in Palestine on the other hand.

El- Funoun Palestinian Popular Dance Troupe is a non-profit organization that is entirely volunteer-based. It plays a crucial role in maintaining, renovating and disseminating the Palestinian Folklore.
