Leena Khalil is the co-founder of Mumzworld, the Middle East’s biggest online retailer of everything mother, baby and child need, which was acquired by Saudi healthcare and consumer goods conglomerate Tamer Group in 2021.
She previously worked for Liberata, a leading business process outsourcer and began her career at a San Francisco investment bank focused on the technology sector. Her experience also extends to listing a number of Europe’s leading internet and technology firms during her time at Citigroup and Robertson Stephens International.
She has been recognized as one of the top women entrepreneurs by Forbes Middle East and one of the most powerful retail leaders by Retail ME in 2021.
Khalil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cambridge University.
